Jerri Boitnott Obituary (1939 - 2022)

Bloomington - Geraldine J. Boitnott, 83 of Bloomington passed away at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday December 14, 2022, at 8:20 PM. There will be a Graveside service at 1 PM Tuesday December 20, 2022, at Rosewood Cemetery in Bloomington. Pastor Jason Collins will officiate. Beck Memorial Home in Bloomington is handling arrangements. Geraldine was born July 30, 1939, in Roanoke, Virginia. She married Leonard Boitnott on December 3, 1960, in Bloomington. He survives. She is also survived by seven children, Benjamin (Carol) Boitnott of Waynesville, Ricky Boitnott of Cooksville, Wayne Boitnott of Bloomington, Vicky (Richard Jr.) Griffieth of Bloomington, Rodney (Glenda) Boitnott of Covell, Lisa Hunt of Bloomington, B.J. (Amy Sellner) Boitnott of Bloomington, 75 grand, great grand and great-great-grandchildren, five brothers and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her mother Maulde King, one daughter Tammie Boitnott, one grandson Bobby Lee Biggs, one brother Kenneth Maxfield and one sister Nancy Martin. Geraldine attended West Twin Grove Church in Bloomington. She loved her dogs Buffy and Sparky and flowers. Her husband, kids and grandchildren were her whole world. She was an Angel on earth and her husband, kids, grandkids, family and friends were blessed to have her as their wife, mom, grandma, sister and friend. Everyone that met her was blessed to have shared a moment in time with Jerri. A moment no one will ever forget because she left her impression/imprint with them... She loved everyone unconditionally and without hesitation. Most of all she loved God. Memorial contributions may be made to Ruby's Rescue and Retreat in Mclean in loving memory of Jerri Boitnott. They can be mailed to her daughter Vicky Griffieth at 1 Oak Valley Rd Bloomington, Il 61704.
